Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
