Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
