So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
