The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 surely your strivings are divergent. 4 As for him who gives and is godfearing 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). 7 But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent, 8 and denied the Truth of goodness: 9 We shall facilitate the path to affliction 10 When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. 11 Verify on us is the guidance 12 and, behold, Ours is [the dominion over] the life to come as well as [over] this earlier part [of your life]: 13 I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, 14 whereat none but the most wretched shall be roasted, 15 even he who cried lies, and turned away; 16 One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 And is under no one's obligation to return his favour, 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
