Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble scribes, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
