Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
