Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
