We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
