Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part-worship- 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
