Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning hours 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
