See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
