Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
