So will he whose bosom Allah has opened up for Islam – he is therefore upon a light from his Lord – ever be equal to one who is stone hearted? Therefore ruin is for those whose hearts are hardened towards the remembrance of Allah; they are in open error. 22 God has sent down the best Message: a Scripture that is consimilar and oft-repeated: that causes the skins of those in awe of their Lord to creep. Then their skins and their hearts soften at the mention of God: such is God's guidance. He bestows it upon whoever He will; but no one can guide those whom God leaves to stray. 23 Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn." 24 Those before them had denied, then punishment had overtaken them is from a quarter they did not suspect. 25 So Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world. And surely the torment of the Hereafter is greater - if they but know! 26 And We have indeed illustrated examples of all kinds in this Qur’an, so that they may ponder. 27 [It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous. 28 Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 29 Thou art mortal, and they are mortal; 30 Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord. 31
