Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
