▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. 29 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority. 33 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 34 There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red. 37 O which of our Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 38 On that Day there will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. 39 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45
