۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
