Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifieth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life, and He makes to die, and He is powerful over everything. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six stages, then assumed the throne. He knows whatsoever enters the earth, and whatsoever comes out of it, and what comes down from the sky and what goes up to it; and He is with you wheresoever you may be, and He perceives whatsoever you do. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. To Him all matters shall return. 5 He brings the night in a part of the day, and brings the day in a part of the night; and He knows what lies within the hearts. 6 Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity),- for them is a great Reward. 7 And what is the matter with you that you believe not in Allah! While the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) invites you to believe in your Lord (Allah), and He (Allah) has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers. 8 It is He who sends down to His Servant clear revelations, so that He may lead you out of darkness into light. God is indeed compassionate and merciful to you. 9 How is it that you do not expend in the Way of Allah when to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting before the Victory cannot be equated (with those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting afterwards). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to each Allah has promised a good reward. Allah is well aware of all that you do. 10
