The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
