Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
