In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
