The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
