Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 Created man from a clot. 2 Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, 3 Who taught (to write) with the pen 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay, surely man transgresses; 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 What thinkest thou? He who forbids 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, 15 his lying sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 and We too will call the stern and angry keepers of hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
