And recall when Moosa said to his assistant, “I will not give up until I reach the place where the two seas meet or until I have progressed for ages.” 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
