Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
