Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated (in the Hell-fire, i.e. the faces of all disbelievers, Jews and Christians, etc.). 2 Labouring (hard in the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allah), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace). 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 Drinking from a boiling spring, 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 Which will neither fatten nor avail against hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 Rejoicing over their efforts. 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 wherein thou wilt hear no empty talk. 11 with a flowing spring, 12 Therein will be thrones raised high, 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 and well spread carpets. 16 Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And at the mountains - how they are erected? 19 and how the earth is spread out? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. 22 But whosoever will turn back and disbelieve 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
