The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
