The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
