People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say thou: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind, 1 "The King of mankind, 2 the God of people, 3 From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),- 4 Who suggests evil thoughts to the hearts of men -- 5 “Among the jinns and men.” 6

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
