The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
