Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
