Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
