The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
