۞ Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom. 46 Say: Whatever reward I have asked of you, that is only for yourselves; my reward is only with Allah, and He is a witness of all things. 47 Say: Surely my Lord utters the truth, the great Knower of the unseen. 48 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]." 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 Ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand, 51 And they will say, “We accept faith in it”; and how can they attain it from so far away? (After they have crossed the limit of life allotted to them.) 52 They had rejected it in their worldly life and expressed disbelief at the unseen (Day of Judgment), considering it less than a remote possibility. 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
