Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
"O My servants, you need not fear this Day, nor shall you grieve" -- 68 For (those of) you on that day who believed in My revelations and submitted. 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 “Rounds of golden cups and wine will be presented upon them; and in it is whatever the hearts wish for, and what pleases the eye; and you will stay in it forever.” 71 This is the Paradise you will inherit (as meed) for your deeds. 72 Herein you will have abundant fruits of which you will eat.” 73 But the evil-doers shall abide in the torment of Hell. 74 It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair. 75 And We wronged them not, but they have been the wrong-doers themselves. 76 And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry. 77 Indeed We have brought the truth (Muhammad SAW with the Quran), to you, but most of you have a hatred for the truth. 78 Have they determined an affair? then verily We are also determining. 79 Or do they think We hear not their secret and what they conspire together? Yes indeed, and Our messengers are present with them writing it down. 80 Say: 'If the All-merciful has a son, then I am the first to serve him. 81 Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)! 82 So let them flounder (in their talk) and play until they meet the Day which they are promised. 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 And blessed be He unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and with Whom is knowledge of the Hour, and unto Whom ye will be returned. 85 Those whom they worship besides God are not able to intercede, except for those among them who believe in the Truth (God) and who know whom to intercede for. 86 And if you ask them as to Who created them, they will surely answer “Allah” – so where are they reverting? 87 And (the Prophet) will say: "O Lord, these are certainly a people who do not believe." 88 pardon them, and say: 'Peace', soon they will know. 89

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
