▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
