The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 like water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
