Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
