The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Terror descends 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 a host of the ancients 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And spreading shade, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And raised couches; 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
