Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
