And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire. 27 And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape. 28 “Therefore when I have properly fashioned him and breathed into him a chosen noble soul from Myself, fall down before him in prostration.” 29 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely, 30 Except Iblis. He refused to bow with the adorers. 31 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?" 32 He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered! 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. 35 "O my Lord," said he, "give me respite till the day the dead are raised." 36 Said Allah, “You are of those given respite.” 37 till the Day the time whereof is known [to Me alone]." 38 Iblis said, "Lord, because you have caused me to go astray, I shall make earthly things attractive to (people) and mislead all of them 39 except Your sincere servants". 40 (To which God) said: "This way is right by Me. 41 over My worshipers you have no authority, except the perverse that follow you. 42 Surely, Hell is the place to which they are destined, 43 It has seven gates and each gate is assigned for a certain group of people. 44
