Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 Aye! man desireth that he may sin before him. 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 and the moon eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 By no means! No place of safety! 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. 14 even though he offers his excuses. 15 Do not forestall (the revelation before its completion) by acting in haste. 16 Surely its collection and recitation are Our responsibility. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 The exposition of its meaning surely rests on Us. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 Waiting for their Lord. 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 and it is said, 'Who is an enchanter?' 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30
