Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
