The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 by the promised day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
