Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
