The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
