1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship. 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 They will be asked, "Why do you not help each other?" 25 They will submit to questioning then, 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, 42 In Gardens of Delight. 43 On couches facing one another; 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 causing no headiness or intoxication. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 “Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 and then he looks and sees that [companion of his] in the midst of the blazing fire, 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 What, do we then not die 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74
