The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 when Shuaib said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful." 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they belied him, then the punishment of the Day of Shadow (raining fire) seized them. Truly, it was the punishment of a dreadful day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
