۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
