Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
