▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
